1 lb Venison ground meat
¾ C Oats
1 sm Onion, minced
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Pepper
½ tsp Basil
½ C V-8 juice
2 Egg whites
1½ C Chopped or shredded vegetables such as carrots, zucchini, broccoli, or cooked greens
In a large bowl stir oats, onion, salt, pepper, basil, and broth. Let stand 5 minutes or until oats swell slightly. Add egg whites, venison, and vegetables. Mix well. In a greased shallow baking pan, shape into loaf. Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 1 hour. |
