- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 small onion
- 1 pound Ostrich (fajita strips, or slices from round)
Combine first four ingredients on blender or food processor and puree. Pour marinade ingredients over meat and marinate 2 hours or over night. Remove meat and reserve marinade; thread strips of meat on skewers. Grill over medium heat or boil, basting occasionally with reserved marinade. Serves 8 - 12 as appetizer.
