- 1 Hamper Crabs (approx. 6 doz.)
- 6 pkgs. crab boil (sacks)
- 1 box crab boil mix
6 oz. cayenne pepper
- 6 oz. liquid crab oil
- 1 3/4 box salt
- 6 med. whole onions (peeled)
- 12 lemons (cut in wedges)
- 6 pods (heads) garlic
- 2 whole bunches celery, cut up
Put liver crabs in empty boiler pot. Sprinkle salt over crabs then add all remaining seasoning. Add water approximately 2 inches over crabs. Bring water to a full boil and time boiling from 15-20 minutes. Turn burner off and let soak for 15-20 minutes. Remove crabs from pot placing them on an open table, upside down (to hold juice in crabs). Let crabs cool.
